Welcome everyone to the 2026 Scotland Housing Award's Good Practice Compendium - a catalogue of the great work undertaken by housing professionals across Scotland.
"The Scotland Housing Awards continue to provide an important opportunity to recognise the remarkable work taking place across our housing sector and to celebrate the people who make it happen.
This year's Good Practice Compendium comes at a time when housing in Scotland remains high on the national agenda. With increasing pressure on housing supply, affordability, homelessness services and the condition of existing homes, the challenges facing our sector are significant. Yet what consistently stands out is the commitment, creativity and determination of housing professionals to find solutions that improve lives and strengthen communities.
The projects and initiatives featured in this compendium demonstrate the very best of our sector. They showcase innovation, partnership working and a relentless focus on delivering better outcomes for tenants, residents and communities. They also remind us that good housing is about much more than bricks and mortar. It is about creating places where people can thrive, feel connected and build secure futures.
One of the greatest strengths of Scotland's housing sector is its willingness to learn from one another. By sharing examples of successful practice, we can inspire new ideas, strengthen our collective impact and continue raising standards across the profession.
